Okay so I'm sure that most of you have noticed that I haven't really been on lately. So I figure I need to explain myself; there are a couple of reasons.

Reason 1: Everytime I get on and see the steadily growing pile of 174 deviations and 46 messages, I exit out and shut down my computer, no lie. My internet isn't as fast as I would like it to be, so I just can't make myself go through the stuff. So after this convention that I'm going to if I end up going to someone's house with fast internet, I'll check it then.

Reason 2: I'm getting ready for MechaCon~ And I'm nowhere near as ready as I would like to be. x.x Here's what needs to be done:
Deidara: Most likely going to leave it as is unless I have time to do the bags when I finish the others.
Nougami Neuro: Need to attach buttons to jacket and hair, and also get some pants! Such procrastination and the con is next week!
Grimmjow Pantera Form: Got the body suit, ears, and tail. Now we need to attach the blades to the arms and legs, make the headpiece, and FIND A WIG. Here's the problem. Got on eBay last month looking for one with my mom hovering and telling me which ones to look at and such. Finally came across the perfect wig, bookmarked the page, and got off. A week later I asked my mom when she would order it (Mind you, I'm too young for a job so I only get birthday money and my mother put 90% of it into savings) and she says, "Oh, you were wanting to buy that wig?" So yeah, I'm screwed unless I can miraculously find a long enough wig in town in a light enough color to sharpie-dye it. Going today with and to look. Wish us luck!

Reason 3: With full band camp fast approaching, I've been trying to spend as much time as I could this summer with friends that I don't go to school with, those being my cosplay buds. Two go to a different school in town, two more are graduated and -now- live 30 minutes away, and two others will be leaving soon for college. So when school starts, I'll probably be back on here regularly.

Reason 4: Okay, I shall refer to these two as Friend 1 (Male) and Friend 2 (Female). Friends 1 and 2 like each other, and they have a small age difference. Friend 2's parents don't approve. Friend 1 is just about the most respectable guy I've ever met, but he's 20. So Friend 2's parents assume the worst in him. Friend 2's parents also assume that another of our friend's is gay, and that I'm a lesbian having only met us like...three times. You guys know me; I'm no lesbian. Anyway, the gist of the situation is we've been trying to help these two get together without Friend 2's parents knowing.

Reason 5: Remember Friend 1? Well he got kicked out of his house Friday at 12 a.m. for the just...dumbest resons. I'm not going into detail because it's private, honestly, so you guys'll just have to trust me when I say he didn't deserve it at all. We've been going stir crazy with worry. He's got a place to stay now, and just...wow. A photographer for MechaCon came down Sunday and gave him $500 to live off of. He's friends with and she told him the situation and he sympathized. Great guy, he is. So things are cooling down now.

Aaaanddd that's all, folks. Just giving you all an update.

Just to throw this out there, if you like gore, humor, and hell, musicals, go watch Repo! The Genetic Opera. Not my favorite movie in the world but it's epic in it's own way. And it's a rock opera, not your classic opera.
